This half term we will be thinking about the parables of Jesus and how they can help us to live out our church school values and vision.
We have also been thinking about the 80th anniversay of VE and what peace means to us.
Collective Worship Summer 1
This half term our church school value is Friendship. We are thinking about how we can be kind to ourselves, be a good friend to others and how we can make a positive impact on the wider community through our work as part of the National Younger Leadership Group.
Collective Worship Spring 2
This half term we are thinking about Lent, Holy Week and Easter. In our class working worships, we are using the Living Hope materials from the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award.

Collective Worship Spring 1
Our worship focus this half term is Compassion which is one of our church school values. We will be thinking about how we can show compassion and how we can make a difference in the world. We will also be reflecting on Holocaust Memorial Day and celebrating the church festivals of Epiphany and Candlemas.

Collective Worship Autumn 2
This term, our worship focus is Advent and Christmas. This gives us the opportunity to follow the Church calendar and to encounter a wider range of values. We also commemorate Remembrance Day with a service led by Year 6 and our Collective Worship Leads will lead a Christingle service.
Christingle
We celebrated Christingle this year with a lovely worship led by our collective worship leads. Each class used their working worships to make a Christingle craft like the ones pictured below. This reduces food waste and also means that families do not have to provide oranges for individual Christingles, whilst still allowing the children to explore the meaning behind the festival. The crafts were a lot of fun and the children were able to take their finished products home.
Collective Worship Autumn 1
Our worship focus this half term is Respect which is one of our church school values. We will be thinking about what respect means and how we can foster it in our school and beyond. We will also be reflecting on British Values. We look forward to listening to different visitors in our worships and also celebrating the International Day of Peace.
World Peace Day
Our Collective Worship leaders held a special worship in the Peace Garden to celebrate World Peace Day. The readings, music and prayers enabled everyone to have a moment of stillness and reflection.Thank you to Rev. Liz for sharing a blessing with us
